In addition, they also offer compressed air handling systems, engine compressors, original spare parts and management and control systems.
The company was founded in 1919 by Carl Kaeser and has its headquarter in Coburg, northern Bavaria. The first branch is in Switzerland and was founded in the late 1970s, while the first branch in the United States was the one in Fredericksburg, founded some years later, in 1982. Initially, the company mainly engaged in the production of spare parts for cars and engines, but then expanded their field of interest to gears and machines for the glass industry, while only after the war began the production air compressors.
The company has designed the SIGMA profile for compressor rotors, constantly subject to optimization processes, which has led to significant energy savings (less 15% than conventional rotors) and they installed on each compressor the Kaeser screw. The company also guarantees a long operational life thanks to the presence of carefully controlled bearings and the precision with which this type of rotors are made.
The European production is mainly carried out in Coburg, Germany, where compressors and spare parts are produced, and in Gera, where there is the production of dryers.
Thanks to the large number of branches and partners around the world, it can offer a support service in several countries.
