The company was founded in 1923 in Kongen, Germany. Initially, Alup concentrated on the production of air pumps for car tires. In 1980 the range of products offered was expanded with the development of screw compressors from 2.2 to 400 kW.

In subsequent years the aspects on which Alup concentrated have been innovation and reliability. Alup products are manufactured according to high quality standards and using innovative and avant-garde technologies in order to improve the efficiency of their compressors.

Alup's range of products include:

• Screw Compressors, able to adapt to the specific industrial needs of the customer. Oil injected machines are available in several versions, from 5 to 340 hp. There is also the possibility to assemble a receiver and integrate a dryer, thus optimizing space. All screw compressors have a rotary engine and some are also equipped with a variable speed technology that can reduce energy costs up to 35%.
• Piston compressors, suitable for both semi-professional, professional and industrial applications.
• Oil free compressors, suitable for use in various industries, such as pharmaceuticals, food and beverage manufacturing, electronic components and textiles. They guarantee a totally oil-free air for the critical processes needed during the production in these industries.
